Home Football Season Begins with Live FSN Broadcast
Seneca
Valley School District is already gearing up for the
2008-09 football season with ticket sales and the
first-ever televised football game.
The Raiders game against District 10 foe Erie
McDowell will be broadcast on September 4, over the Fox
Sports News (FSN) Network. The game, typically held on
Friday nights, was moved to Thursday to accommodate the
broadcast time. When asked about the opportunity
to play a home game on regional television, Coach Ron
Butschle said he was thrilled.
